Position Title: ACTT Substance Abuse Specialist

Position Title:  MST Therapist

Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement. (The remaining units may either be phone or collateral contacts).  Work a minimum of sixty percent (60%) or more of time outside of ASAP facilities, with or on behalf of the youth.  Must agree to participate in MST introductory training and quarterly training on topics directly related to the needs of MST youth and their family on an ongoing basis.  Must agree to receive a minimum of one (1) hour of group supervision and one (1) hour of telephone consultation per week.

Responsibilities: Provide nursing interventions to individuals support by the ACTT team. Position Title:  Intensive In-Home Team Leader

Position Classification:  Full-time exempt

Qualifications:  Licensed or provisionally licensed masters level professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPA, LPC (for candidates for LPC licensure you must be board eligible). Prefer candidates with at least a year experience with the population and experience in family therapy techniques.

Responsibilities:  Serve as the team leader in determining overall direction of treatment and providing clinical supervision and guidance to other team members in implementing the plan for treatment.  This will entail multiple weekly team meetings and phone contact with team members. Provide or arrange for other team members to provide crisis management, intensive case management, individual and/or family therapy, substance abuse intervention, parent and/or child skills training, and other rehabilitative supports. Provide the bulk of the family therapy and when needed, create behavioral supports for the parents.  Monitor and manage the child’s presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms. Responsible for coordinating the initial assessment and developing the youth’s Person Centered Plan (PCP). Provide, when assigned, “first responder” crisis response on a 24/7/365 basis to recipients.  This is a shared rotational on-call among the team members. Deliver services in various environments, such as homes, schools, community locations, detention centers, etc. Provide QA of the other team member’s service notes and ensure timeliness. Approve timesheets and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure incident reports are prepared and submitted on time. Manage utilization review.

Qualifications:  Qualified Professional:  must have a Bachelor’s degree, human services preferred, and requisite experience with the population and age served (adult), minimum 1 year post bachelors experience with adults. Prefer substance abuse certification and experience.

Responsibilities:  Receive supervision according to supervision requirements specified in 10A NCAC 27G.0204, and Easter Seals UCP policy and the Community Support Team service definition.  Comply with all Easter Seals UCP policies and procedures, as well as state, and federal regulations.  Follow and adhere to the individual’s PCP.  Provide basic skills and activities as required in the PCP. Maintain professional boundaries with individuals.  Complete a minimum of twenty (20) hours of training specific to the required components of the community support team service definition including crisis response within the first 90 days of employment.  Meet billing requirements.  Write daily service notes with proficiency and submit as required and on time, with minimal reworking.  Participate in peer review.  Participate, when assigned, in “first responder” crisis response on a 24/7/365 basis to individuals experiencing a crisis and be available to make face-to-face contact with individuals served within 2 hours of receiving a crisis call.  Contribute to effective teamwork by establishing and maintaining effective communication and internal relations with supervisor, team members and other staff.

Position Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Charlotte

Position Classification: Full Time

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of occupational therapy and at least one year of experience with developmentally disabled children. Must have a North Carolina license as an occupational therapist and provider number. Some knowledge of IEP, IFSP preferable.

Responsibilities: Selects appropriate evaluation devices and evaluates each child in the area related to occupational therapy. Prepares written report of evaluation results and interprets these results to the staff and caretakers. Participates in meetings as necessary and submits occupational therapy evaluations for program planning. Develops occupational therapy plan for each child to be included in the treatment plan. Maintains records and therapy notes on each child. Develops an outline of activities to reinforce the occupational therapy program in coordination with the education activities. Demonstrates activities to staff.

Meets with each child’s caretaker(s) periodically to review and update the child’s therapy program. Attends appropriate, work related in service workshops/conferences. Assists the program director in preparing and coordinating appropriate billing and authorizations for funding sources related to payment for therapies. Performs related duties as requested by program director.
