Friendly’s Restaurants, LLC will hold its annual ‘Cones for Kids’ campaign this month to benefit Easter Seals’ Camp programs across the county. From April 4 – April 27, 2014, Friendly’s Restaurants will offer guests two ways to support Easter Seals.
Camp Easter Seals UCP is partnering with Commonwealth Autism Service and the Shenandoah Valley Regional Partnership to include behavioral analysts as part of the camp support staff this summer. The addition of these specialized staff will provide additional support to campers with autism and behavioral challenges.
We’re off and running! Last weekend’s Great Glow Run in New Bern marked the first of five Great Glow Runs this spring. It’s not too late to register for a race near you: Wilmington (April 26), Greenville (May 3), Raleigh (May 16) and Fayetteville (May 23).

With the belief that all children and adults with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities, the accessible camp facility can accommodate campers with a wide range of special needs.
