CHARLOTTE, NC - - During the month of March, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse donated 100 percent of the sales of its signature and most popular drink - Chima Caipirinhas, the national cocktail of Brazil, to Easter Seals UCP.  As a result, Chima Brazilian Steakhouse employees recently presented local Easter Seals UCP staff with a check for $7,884 that will be used to support local programs and services for individuals living with disabilities.

NEW CASTLE, V.A. - - Camp Easter Seals UCP, located in Craig County, Virginia and specializing in quality recreational and therapeutic camp programs for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, has just received a $10,000 grant from State Farm that will benefit the more than 500 campers who participate in camp activities.  The grant will go towards operating costs of Camp Easter Seals UCP.

RALEIGH, NC - - The children who attend the Easter Seals UCP Charlie Gaddy Children’s Center are enjoying the opportunity to play creatively together outside, thanks to a new wheelchair-accessible playhouse. The playhouse was built and donated by NetApp employees in Research Triangle Park in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Durham, as part of NetApp’s Playhouse Project. Easter Seals UCP is currently raising money to update its playground equipment at the Raleigh Children’s Center, and the playhouse makes a significant contribution to the playground update.
