General Info

Respite care is a temporary break that can be provided to individuals throughout the lifespan. Many individuals with disabilities receive respite care so that families can take a break from daily care-giving activities.  Respite care can be an option for families engaged in challenging situations and requiring short term support for successful outcomes. Easter Seals UCP provides a wide array of respite programs that deliver services in the individual's home or in the community.  The available respite care is based on the needs of the individual and family.
